WICHMANN ROAD | ATTADALE

In this mid-century modern home, eclectic design brings endless personality to the functionality needed for an active family of four. On the façade, light bag-washed face brick and textured Masterwall is contrasted with cool black in the garage door and aluminium  window frames. Iron Ash feature cladding and a Cedar entry door bring warmth to match the jacaranda tree that shades it all from the street.

Inside, it’s textured greys that take the lead, with burnished  concrete floors and a Sto Milano feature wall. Timber again creates balance in the Victorian Ash staircase, recessed living room ceiling and—where it stands out the most—paired with dark Caesarstone on the kitchen island. Everything is tied together with unique art pieces and recycled lights from the family’s travels.

Onto the specifics, the two-storey home consists of three beds, two baths and an office to work from home. An open-plan kitchen, living and dining opens out to an alfresco and pool that’s ideal for entertaining, even on hot summer days. Tucked in the quiet river-front suburb of Attadale, it all makes for a gorgeous home to raise a family.
