HUBBLE STREET | EAST FREMANTLE

This amazing home can be found metres from the river and the George Street precinct. The design and detailing was done by the very talented Lara Staunton at Lahaus, and the working drawings completed by Greg Howes at Howes and Homes Design.

This project involved transforming an existing single storey house into a two-storey home. We added a new open plan kitchen, dining and living area, all oozing with warmth and character. An additional 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and laundry were also included. Outside, a new pergola structure, underground concrete pool, decking and northern alfresco were added..

Timber framing was used throughout construction, along with burnished concrete on the ground floor and Victorian ash timber on the staircase and first floor. The use of so many natural materials gives the entire home a pleasant and calming feel.
